Does anyone have pictures or dimensions for crates used by the manufactures or military to ship M1 rifles? I would like to see how they were arranged and secured and what materials were used. Thanks in advance!

Thanks, gentlemen! That's what I'm looking for. Now, Ijust need to buy a few more M1s! Actually, I am looking to build a container to make it easier to transport multiple rifles if/when necessary.:icon_salut:

You might check with the CMP. At one time they were selling them I thnk and I know they were giving them away for free.
