View Full Version : Is this still a "Cracker Barrel" Forum
In the old CSP we were allowed to post most anything in the Gun Talk as it was a Cracker Barrel Forum, is this new one the same as the old or is it what the other host site shaped it into? which was anyting but a Cracker Barrel. Again thanks to Dick, Glo and all other for bringing the forum back from the dead zone.

Howdy,
It is still the cracker barrel. Talk away just remember the old rules.
Best,
Gloria

Have been away for awhile, dropped by the "interim" site a few times, but something about it just didn't set well - have been busy as well - but the non-crackerbarrel nature of the interim Gun Talk thread was like drinkin 3.2 beer......
Thanks Dick & Gloria!

It sure feels good to be back home again. Although the folks at Milsurp did a fantastic job on welcoming us and I appreciate their effort, I repeat again, it sure feels good to be back home again.

Milsurp may have kept us together for wich I'm very grateful but I began feeling like a four or five year old and getting scolded for speaking up on issues. Over there even our second amendment wasn't looked upon as a gun related.
It was nice that the last folks kept some of us together. They deserve some thanks.
I've come to think that maybe only Americans can truly appreciate 1A rights. I went to college for a while in Montreal. I'm from a family that has intermarried with Canadians, there are many Canadian citizens working in my office and I can see Windsor across the Detroit River as I write. I watched Canadian TV last night and do so regularly.
Although non-Americans intellectually understand freedom of Speech, they do not cherish that freedom the way we do. Other folks have not suffered under ancient Brittish tyranny and do not have today the fruits and history of successful armed rebellion that we enjoy and pass on to our kids.
Non-Americans just don't get it. You can say any kinda silly sh-t you want over here and we don't dislike you for it. It's just part of the way we live here and part of the process by which we analyze ideas.
