Default Hello everybody!!! been gone a long time. missed you guys.

as stated in the header, been out of touch here for tooo long. been spending much time around the net. plus constaant pc problems over the last year has not helped.
went up to Shands teaching hospital in may , looked into "deep brain stimulation". the Doc was very encourageing that he could get me walking again. i however do not like the i dea, let alone the actual "spike" they'd have to install in my skull. but he sad i'd only need one spike on my left side as it controls the right side which is the shaky side...
got a new wheelchair, comfortable than the last, but fewer places to hang onto to keep myself seated...
well enough rambling for now. just wanted to say "hi"... hope all are well. till later, Charles

Stick around, this place is good "therapy". Have to keep the mind sharpened around here.

You should only be worried if they want to install a bolt on each side of your neck and your Doctor's name is IGOR.

thanks guys. i'm only considering the surgery, not commited. been a "wheelchair rider" 32 yrs, would like to drive a car insted. or just walk... would be great to go back to my old rifle club and get out of my chair to shoot the monthly match. i love this site, so much great information learned here..
i hope to get back in the groove..
