I have 2 parkerized heat sheilds, for the M1200 shotgun. Both are new, one has the part # on the bayonet lug, the other just has a 2 on the bayonet lug. What is the value of these heat sheilds?

The value depends on demand. A few years ago some U.S. marked 1200's hit the market, surplused from PD's that had received them surplus from gov't. Many of them were missing the heatshield/bayo lug and consequently demand was high. Stocks and forends were hot too, many of the guns had mismatched wood. At the moment, that market has fallen quiet, as those guns got sold and there are none out there. You could try marketing them for around $450 and see if you get any takers.

$450 ? How much did they go for when the guns were available?
The Winchester 1200 heatshield is the most common heatshield available today (other than aftermarket). A couple of years ago I bought a 1200 Heatshield and a U.S. marked 1200 barrel, both in mint condition, for $400. I have never seen a 1200 Trenchgun offered for sale without the heatshield, so I would think you might find a buyer for $200 or so, but I think even at that price it is not going to fly out the door. I still have that new barrel and heatshield, but have never found a gun that needed it.
Thanks Steve, that makes more sense.
