Default Remington 870 MkI question ....

I recall hearing of discussions some time ago about someone intending to manufacture reproductions of the 870 MkI front band and bayonet lug. Does anyone know if anyone has done so?

I have not seen any reproductions of the Mark 1 bayonet lug with the dovetail sight, but once in a while I do see original bayonet lugs with the bead sight for Air Force guns come up for sale. Seems like they go for about $300 for a complete assembly.
Here is a detailed shot of what you are looking for.

I found all the parts about 20+ years ago and set this up myself. Barrel, extension and Front Sight/Bayonet Lug were $150.00 at the time. I used it to teach combat shotgun while assigned as a Cadre to NS long Beach, Ca. The Navy at the time was using Mossberg 500's.
