They sure look nice, but do they hold zero in anyones experience?

I had a set on a Remington 7mm Mag 700 BDL years ago in Colorado they were excellent! Nick
They ARE very nice mounts. The ring parts need to be kept together, not switched between each other. The rings will ONLY fit on a Conetrol base.
If you have a Rem. 700 LA, and need some, PM me.

There is a disk that fits over the two halves of the rings. It is so sharp and flat you can hardly see the junction when installed. You have to twist the disk to match the curves of the rings. I sliced both fingers during this operation. It pays to have better dexterity than I when installing.
Yes, the system is very strong and reliable. Very neat and clean appearance.
You have to keep ALL the ring parts together, and oriented as originally produced. Otherwise you have to try and figure out what piece goes with what-other piece and HOW are they oriented !!!
Like you stated about getting things to align up, I've dealt with other peoples messes before, but prefer to keep everything together.
FWIW,
Emri
Conetrol stands behind the product, will take care of you if anything isn't right.
