541X What do you think is a fair price to bid?

I have one new in the box that I have been thinking of selling for a bit now. Mine is new in original Remington box with all accessories and is unfired. I was thinking of $500 for it. Without the other stuff (box,paperwork,etc) I would think $450 would be a good price for a rifle that looks that nice. At $250 where it is now, its a steal! (at least in my opinion).
A guy at the range sold his a couple of years ago for $650.00.
A friend of mine just sold one on GB for $550. It was NIB, and had just been taken out of the inside foil wrapper, but not fired.
