    5 Grand plus is too much though. Several on other auction sites at about a grand less.

    Springfield never said this was his rifle, only a series of rifles using his name. My understanding is that the widow received royalites. It's no worst than golf clubs named after gofers. Mrs. Hathcock needs all the help she can receive.
