I have read, "Tears in the Darkness" about the Bataan experience.

Anyone have a good recommendation for addition personal experiences and real story telling?

Check out "Lieutenant Ramsey's War" excellent book about the Philippines and the last horse cavalry charge against the Japanese in 1942 and the Filipino guerrillas during the war.
