    Default New 1944 Lithgow

Look 100% kosher? Matching, only "AUSTRALIA" in wood, no other exports/imports

Nice looking pea shooter. How did you come into owning it?

Joe Salter....that means you didn't get anywhere close to a garage sale deal! LOL.
He does have a LOT of nice cherry-picked firearms though and yours seems to be proof of that. I've seen several on his site that I might have been negotiating at a gun show. I've even looked back sort of hoping they were sold just so I didn't have to live with the temptation. Some of his things are reasonable given condition. Others...well lets just say I don't always mind paying the price too soon but two decades too soon is a little hard for me to handle
What's important here is no matter what you paid you got a really nice one. One that I would be very proud to own myself. It shows just enough honest use yet still retains some original stock shaper marks. Just enough blood color too. Is there still a faint scent of creosote in the wood?
