    Default trapdoor trigger???

My trapdoor 45-70 has an 1863 side lock on it & I would like to know how to go about making the trigger pull lighter, if it`s possible. Thanks in advance.

Question -- I thought all the 1873 45-70s were made with new locks, and it was the 50-70s that had the ACW era locks.

    I certainly could/would be wrong . . .

My rifle is a Bannerman Rifle. An 1863 side lock, long wristed stock, 1873 breach block, & barrel & reciever 1888, & also it is a very good shooter all the way out to 200yds.
