Default It's so quiet here today. I think I'll post a picture of my '41.

This is nice, how has everyone been?

I have an offer of a trade on an '09 Triumph motorcycle for my '41 but I let two others go back in May so I'm a bit gun-shy.

Well MJ, I reckon you have a decision to make.
How many T's do you have?
How often do you shoot them?
How often will you ride the bike?
Investment value going up on the T vs. down on the Triumph?
What good is the investment if all you plan to do is watch the numbers ride on paper?
How much longer do guys like us have left?
How much fun do we plan to have during that time?

Am I glad I'm not in your shoes right now? You bettcha!!

Come on JB ride a big to Costa Rica or watch a rifle get covered in ages of dust? Maybe your right I don't know.

Riding down to Costa Rica would be a dare I don't think I'd take right now. Perhaps in an APC but not on a bike. You could always put the bike inside the APC...but then you'd have to sell off a few more rifles.

To tell the truth, half of my collection went onto the block over the past three years. Got tired of looking at safe queens and started buying things I could have fun with. Mostly more rifles and muskets but things I've always wanted anyway. I still have a solid core collection of Enfields for myself but I let the things like the MkV and the MkI*** go to folks who appreciated them. I'm down to a pair of M1917's and just a pair of M1 rifles. One safe queen and one shooter each.

Here's a few of the toys I bought with Enfield rollover money. I'm not complaining at all.

Don't have pics of my latest one yet. But that's getting used as much as all of the above are.

    Shazam JB

The boss doesn't like the idea either and if I ship the Triumph it will get taxed at close to 115% book value + fees.

    Hey MJ;
How many of those T models can you "carry with you"? (heh, heh)
