    Ok got it sorted out - I still have images moved to my desk top that need to be used up - so expect some links for a while

    Brought back memories of my light 30 days..

    I was real good at "Search and Traverse" so they made me a machinegunner.

    Wonder what they would have done with me if I was a good cook back then?

    It was a pre-WW2 idea. Dropped around 1943 ( mid-war , anyway). Isreal liked the idea and started putting them on thiers , but the lever was of a different shape. Chris
