match the rifle?
What sn scope was originally paired with her?
I'll see your 9617, and raise you 128.
I managed to find a non-matching Mk 1 scope, Watson # 1383, but am still looking for the matching HBM Co. scope.

Thanks guys! Sorry I do not have record of either of your two missing scopes. Closest I have come across was 9551 on its matching rifle that some SOB outbid me on!!
Look at the bright side. you don't need three hands and a special tool to make adjustments on a Mk3 scope.![]()
+1 to that!
But I am retired now, and have nothing better to do
Good excuse to spend a lot of time at the range.
Ramon;
Maybe it's the photo, but in your last pic, I don't see the D6E/crown stamp on the left side of the receiver tang, near the bolt's rear....I have an early 1943 T rifle with an AK -prefix serial number that has all the expected H&H build stamps, except the D6E/crown....I also have another later 1943 T rifle in the later AV-prefix that has the D6E stamp, but no TR.......it has all the other H&H stamps...
I guess it took till late 1943 for H&H to standardize the stamps associated with them.....
Nice rifle you have..how does it shoot?
