The imperial bus system

Just found out da messiah doesn't travel cross country on his imperial bus system. The busses are LOADED on a C17, flown to the nearest air base, and THEN da messiah gets on it for his trip to see the faithful. the bus is then driven back to the air base, loaded on another C17 and flown to the next state. I thought he had an armoured limo for stuff like that!

Yes, but using the limo wouldn't allow the faithful to harbor the illusion that he was actually driving across the country, as he claims. Of course, this means he's also using about ten times the fuel for his campaign trip. "Dey ain't nothin' like makin' it cost mo! My guess is that the Secret Service nixed any thought of a cross country bus tour, and probably had chit fits about the idea of using a bus period. It has always been the practice to ship the president's & his family's vehicles & at least those of his immediate security detail by the USAF, & they guarrantee that no one has had access to them & the aircrafts, a point of pride for the USAF. On this one the kid from Illinois gets a pass from me.

Are you sure about that pass? Still using the old system kind of negates the need for a "tour" bus doesn't it? My question is, are they going to fly the Republican candidates bus from place to place too? They gave the impression everything was going to be fair and balanced when they bought the 2 buses for his "not a campaign" Campaign trip.

Obama has been to the Quad Cities twice recently. Both occasions, the general public was not allowed anywhere near his precence. Even the Mississippi river was closed to all traffic. 200 'tickets' were handed out to 'special' guests to be close to him and listen to his lies. Do you wonder why all the strict protective measures are taken?

Too many nutcases in both the left & right persuasion............ The left is badly in need of a dead martyr to hang onto power,& there are some right wing fruitcakes like that idiot/crazie in Norway, that thinks that God gave him the mision to deal with the Anti-Christ. My hat is off to the Gold Shield people that are protecting the President. My prayers are with them, the President & his family for their safety & guidance.

If some fruitcake of either stripe even tries very hard to do it, I fear we will lose most of our constitutional rights "for the duration of the emergency", & that means forever........ so you better all pray for the safety of the Kid from Illinois & his family.

Nope. No pass, no way. If he was going to do this then he didn't need the busses, period. But he claimed he was doing a nation wide bus (campaign) tour. So if he wasn't doing a bus tour, he just spent 2.2 million plus whatever the cost of at least one C-17 (plane, crew, fuel, lodging, food, security, etc.) to transport the friggin bus he didn't need (and don't doubt there's another C-17 carrying the "spare" bus). The fact is, he's his own greatest security risk and I only pray that none of his protection detail get hurt for his stupid @ss. This dipstick keeps piling on and piling on and then everybody "gives him a pass" because of security. No pass. He didn't need the busses. So, no pass. If he didn't have the busses, he wouldn't need the extra planes and all of their associated expenses. No pass. He could have done exactly what he's doing now, except using the (expensive enough in it's own right) limo. No pass. I'm sick and tired of this know-nothing SOB costing us money on his, so far, three year vacation. Face it, if this was your kid going to college, you'd have forced him to come home, cut off the money, and probably bruised his head while trying to knock some sense into it. He's accountable to US and it's time we started acting like it, instead of letting this jack@ss cry "security" every time he wants something.

I doubt that anyone would want to harm obama since that would get us Biden in the White House. Something that I don't think he would be adverse to. Out of the frying pan into the fire. Holder/Himmler would love it!

You guy's all missed one fact. If this was an admitted official "campain tour" The DMC would have to foot the bill for it, planes and all! So it is something called a 'meet the people tour', so its official goverenment buisness and payed by tax money. And by the way, buses cost 1,1 million bucks (ea. or both, not sure) and were made in Canada! They do however use AF to fly his limos where he goes, even overseas
