Its getting very hard to buy real black powder in a retail shop. The feds and local laws make it not worth the business owners time to carry the product. I can't find it in the Houston Metro. I suggest you try Graffs.
To Error Is Human To Forgive Is Not SAC Policy
Ck'd Graf's but most of their Goex was out of stock. Buffalo Arms has Swiss and another brand in stock, but I thought I'd try locally first. Thanks m1ashooter. Regards, Rob
Might call a Goex distributor and ask for vendors in your area http://www.goexpowder.com/distributors.html It looks like NC is the closest distributor. Any muzzle loading clubs or cowboy shooting clubs in your area?

Thanks JBin for your suggestion. Black powder shooting as far as clubs in S.E. Fl. is pretty much non-existent, although there are a few clubs up in central and northwest Florida. I found one site, PowderInc.com that currently carrys Goex in lb. containers (5 lb. lot) for a fairly reasonable price that includes ground shipping and hazmat. Price gets substantially cheaper with larger quantity purchases and if enough guys chimmed in in this area, I would consider a group buy. Thanks again and I will ck. out the Goex dist. site. Regards, Rob
If you ever get up to Orlando, Buffalo Bill'w on Mills Ave, North of Colonial Drive has it.
Thanks 11mm! Think I'll just order from PowderInc.Com after Labor Day. Regards, Rob
