I have a new favorite 03. Way too far gone to restore but it sure shoots good. This one wasn't done by Bubba as the fit and finish are very nice and the after market parts were very high class circa 1954. Hope to get a whitetail with it this Fall.

Not even close what mine is -- a 1915 National Match I picked up a few months ago. This rifle is purty!! ME/TE of less tha 1, crisp stock and markings, nearly all the original finish and a mirror bore. Only some wear on the visible part of the barrel and the upper band and some scratches on the TG prevent this from being..well...perfect!!

Not 'restored' in the true sense. When I got it, the barrel was shot out and swallowed the Field Gauge. Receiver has a WWII light green tint to the parkerized finish. Chuck found me a 1917 RIA barrel to replace the one on there and also got me a straight-handle bolt. Stock is smooth as glass, no cartouches. Was evidently someone's "shooter" at one time. There is some bedding compound at the contact points between the front of the rear sight and the stock. Last two digits of the serial number are scribed into the top of the follower. The last four digits are stamped into the stock.

One of these days I've gotta go up north and play at Rick's house.
