Muzzle in pic #10 appears to have been recrowned. Not many details about the rifle; barrel date missing, no pic of the bolt, etc. Needs more info.

According to seller barrel is marked: SA 12-29.

I thought that was sort of reasonable for a USMC rebuild. If I was in the market for another, I would have paid that without hesitation.

If you got it I think you did ok. I don't think your bid was outside the ballpark for a shooter Rock Island "mixmaster" that could have a USMC heritage. I've seen similar rifles go for more.
