I have Excell 2002. For some reason it doesn't recognize this update. I get a message that says "it doesn't recognize this format". When I open it I get 'Gibberish".
I downloaded Excel Reader and it does the same thing.
Any guesses as to what I might be doing wrong. Earlier sheets have been no problem.
I have two more to enter, but I can't remember what I used for an owner's name. I'd like to check it before I list the SN#'s.

Dunno what to tell you. I just re-downloaded to to make sure it wasn't corrupted. I save this in the old XLS format for Office 1997 to 2003 users (not the new XLSX format for 2007 and 2010, which is what I have on my computer). I actually use LibreOffice to do my cut-and-paste. If your version of MS-Office doesn't work, or you've got some sort of malware on your computer, I'd go to the LibreOffice web site and download their office suite, which is compatible with the list. If you have malware on your computer I'd go to http://www.filehippo.com and download SUPERAntispyware Free Edition, MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, and CCleaner. Good Luck.

I don't know what happened. But I tried it today and it works fine.
I spent 2 days playing with it before I bothered you. When Excel Reader wouldn't load it I was stumped. Even tried "Open Office" with the same results.
I gave it one more shot before getting "LiberOffice" and "BINGO". I can't explain it.
Thanks for all the advice. Glad I didn't need it.
