    Default Heat shield ID

Can someone please help me ID this heat shield. It has six holes across and 29 holes per row, it is parkerized, and is marked 11888389 MFR-1A424 11. Any help would be appreciated.

It's for the Winchester Model 1200 shotgun. It was likely made in the early 1980s because the Cage Code (1A424) was only established for the manufacturer of this adaptor around 1983. Most of these adaptors do not have the Cage Code on them, so they are probably of earlier manufacture.

    Default I appreciate the help!

    Tom,
It is not what I was hoping to hear, but I really appreciate you passing along the information. Is there any interest in these later heat shields?
    Thank you.

Only if you happen to own a real 1200, which very few people do. These used to be very common at gunshows. I remember them selling for next to nothing. But today, who knows. Military shotgun stuff seems to bring a big premium.
