    Default ???

    I just bought two punds of goex cowboy BP and I understand that goex cowboy BP is equivalent to fffg according too what the salesman told me. If the two powders are equivalent than I reckon I'll continue with the same loads. If they are not the same can someone then point me in the right direction for handloads? I have a Ruger Vaquero in .45 LC and I use 200gr and 250gr RNFP. Any help would be appreciated.

    It was my understanding that the Cowboy was the equivalent of 3F, but don't take my word for it. I also understand that CB has been discontinued.

    I think they both have been discontinued but you can still get cowboy BP from Powder Inc.

    Several Goex Powders Are Now ... History!
    by John Boy » Thu Jan 13, 2011 9:14 am

    Just recently, Hodgdon made the decision to discontinue production of the following Goex powders:
    * 1st it was Cartridge
    * Now they have added Cowboy
    And could Express be next? FFg has been out of stock @ Powder Inc with anticipated resupply in December, now identified in February. Maine Powder House doesn't have any Express listed as one of their Goex powders
