Chuck:
I had a 3-19 barrel on an earlier Winchester M1917. The receiver was parkerized but the barrel appeared to have original blue.
When it was discussed here years ago, my understanding was that Winchester was given an order for replacement barrels before their contract was closed out in April 1919. The rifle "clean and repair" work was already underway at that time.

This one is not mine, but Joe Salter has a picture of a rebuilt rifle with a W 3-19 barrel on his website:

I have an original W 1-19 barrel on a WRA M1917, s/n 4979xx. This rifle shows approx 95% of it's original blueing. The muzzle gauges .302 and the rifle is a good shooter.
Back in 2006, at a gunshop, drooled over a Eddystone with a "22" date Winchester barrel.
Didn't have the money for it!![]()
"22" damn that is late!

3-19, on an Eddystone, like an earlier response the action is parked, but the finish on the barrel is blued, fairly high quality too.
I don't remember where I saw it, but Winchester was supposed to be the last one (of the three) to cease 1917 barrel production and it was in early 1919. Not saying that it's impossible but I'd be very suspipcious of anything later than march 1919. I've never seen or heard of anything after that, let alone 1922.
wish the original 1917 new in grease barrels were as easy to find and priced like 03A3 barrels
