Atta boy eric holder, can you possibly get any more crooked? I guess you know that the funeral home that will bury you is going to have to find a very large cork screw to get you in the ground!

Eric, how the hell can you live with yourself?

The truth may come out in say 50 or so years just as other inconvenient problems find the light of day.

If I'm not mistaken, Cunningham (the fella who's "takin' th' fifth") might be granted immunity from prosecution, and might then be compelled to testify. Refusal to do so in that case would constitute contempt of Congress, which does carry jail time as a penalty.

(No jokes about Congress being beneath contempt, please! [grin])

They should make him appear anyway, and question him as normal -- and televise the session. Let the people see "The chief of the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Arizona" plead the 5th over and over and over.

I'd prefer they give him immunity. Cunningham merely provided legalese to cover their as*es. I want to know WHO dreamed up this farce in the first place. Dollars to donuts, it was some POLITICAL appointee.

He's banking on Obama pardoning him when he goes out of office.

I'll bet if he shoots his mouth off they will find him face down in a park.

What this is about: The subpoenaed Gov. Attorney claims he testified accurately. The old boys in Main Justice, headed by Holder claim he was lying. Well somebody's lying, we don't know who yet, him, is bosses or all of them. Sooo in this case realizing that he could well be the fall guy he's going to do what I would do and "take five." There is a general professional courtesy deal between prosecutors and defense attorneys that if through his lawyer, a defendent states that the client will assert his 5th Ammendment rights he is not called. There are exceptions and this looks like it might be one of those cases.

Immunizing him might work but there are people who go to jail rather than testify under a grant of immunity for the reasons above, that is they contend that telling the truth in contravention of what the authorities want to hear might get them indicted.

One way or another the coverup continues and the "stonewall" gets reinforced.

If any of you knew just how many alphabet agencies were involved in this it would make your head spin. This is larger than just the ATF and the US Attorney for AZ.

Anyone else see it as odd that Reagan had to testify on the Iran Contra affair, but Obama is immune to criticism when implicated in a plot to arm drug cartels while they basically invade our country?
