Default Please help ID this .22 conversion magazine

Bought it sight-unseen and was told it was for a 22 conversion. Looks alot like my AR15 conversion, minus the box-spacer for the mag well. It has a notch cut into the back spine, and I would guess it holds 15 or 20 rounds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sir,
That magazine is or may be a Harrington and Richardson product. Even though the body is curved it has the same appearence as my straight bodied magzines for the Model 65 rifle.

One of the greatest expenses of new rifle designs is the designing and building of the mags. To help in this , during the '70's and 80's , more or less , a company developed and built these mags. You will see these as a basis on many of the .22s and said conversion kits of that era. The gun/kit manufacturers would buy these and notch them or weld cages/boxes to the top of them to fit thier individual needs.
You'll see them in 10-15-20-30 round configurations . Numrich Arms / gun parts used the 10rd in thier early .22 conversion of the thompsons and the 30 rd in thier later conversions and thier .22 Thompson rifles. Bingham Arms used them in thier PPSH copy , too. Some of the AR15 and M1 carbine copies stuck these into fake housings to give them the appearance of bigger rounds.
Because of the number of limited run of firearms by a number of smallish companies that used these , unless you have a known one to compare the latching notch to , it will be hard to nail it down to one maker's model.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
