Sears Trenchgun

Hello All
Does anyone know if Sears produced a Trenchgun named a Ranger , its a pump and is G.I. marked. I have the serial # but don't know if the gun is legit. It appears correct with heatshield etc. Any photo or help would be appreciated.

Absolutely positively NOT. Stevens made shotguns under the Sears name, and some of them were adopted into service under the blanket procurement program. But they never produced any trenchgun under contract under the Sears name. What you have is almost certainly a long barreled shotgun which has been faked into a "trench".
