Default US marked Remington M11 barrel value?

Does a US Property marked Remington M11 riot length barrel that appears to be original finish have any value? I'm told it is marked US with the ordnance shell near the chamber.

What is the proper length and choke markings (if any) for a riot barrel?

If it has value, is there any demand of them?

    Thanks.

20 inch and "cyl " on left side under the US and bomb ( which are on top ) . Should also have a three letter date code next to the "cyl " and a factory mark ( most are a heart or an anchor ) . These were matched seral number wise to the reciever( should be on barrel bottom ) for headspacing. Value would not be great due to this , but would be equal to a modern barrel if in good condition. One with a long barreled trainer may would want one for reinacting or some such . Now , if you could find the gent with that serial numbered reciever , it could be worth some coin to him.

I bought one a while back at a gun show for $35, but what does that have to do with what your barrel is worth. If you want to sell yours I would be interested.

Munkjeep, the barrel is not mine. It was for sale locally but the seller wasn't sure what to sell it for or if it was in demand.

Not trying to start a fight but considering that 12 gauge shotshells are rimmed cartridges and the model 11 in particular is a long recoil design (barrel and bolt locked together and recoil together) I wonder if the headspace issue has been oversold.

Back in the days before the internet a friend gave me a model 11 barrel fitted with a polychoke which i occasionally used in lieu of the matching barrel. Maybe i was just lucky but i never experienced any difficulty or signs or excess pressure.
Model 11 replacement barrels were routinely sold through the mail to any and all comers - can't say i ever heard of a problem.

    Regards,
    Jim
