    Default Starlight Scope PVS-3

Anybody know the powersource for this Late Vietnam Starlight scope? Tried two 2032 button cell batteries and it worked for about 2 minutes.

    Go here:

Down at the bottom, several different batteries are listed. Nominal battery life is supposed to be 30 hours. Also click on the blow-up diagram. Evidently the 2 AA battery usage requires an adapter pack.

Had a starlight scope on my M14, and ruled the night with it.. If I am not mistaken it took a battery about the size of a D cell.. Sure would like to have one for my M1A
