Default Update on my frozen Dillon 550B

I'd found that the old battery in the low primer sensor had gone bad & leaked acid down the ram where it met the main body of the press, effectively welding the two together. I couldn't free it, & called Dillon. their customer rep told me to send it in 2 weeks ago.

yesterday Fed Ex pulls up & Dillon had sent me a new in box complete 550B press, with a note thanking me for using Dillon products. WOW.

Gotta love that "NO BS" warranty.

RCBS stands behind their stuff too, unlike some of the other companies.

Yep! I bent the rod in my primer pocket swager, and emailed RCBS about buying a replacement rod. A couple of days later an envelope showed up in the mail with TWO replacement rods. No charge.

I once bought a busted up 550B from a widow and sent it in to Dillon for rebuilding. I told them that I wasn't the original owner and asked for a repair cost estimate. Two weeks later, it arrived at my place completely rebuilt. The letter that came with it stated that the warranty went with the machine, not the owner!
