    Default M1917 Winchester

Are the classifieds coming back? I have a M1917 Winchester I am going to sell. Can we post on here or only Classified? I'm guessing it's not up and running - or my computer skills are at their usual low level...

What's your asking price for the Winchester? Maybe I can save you the trouble of waiting for the classifieds.

    Default Thanks for the replies!

I'm looking forward to when the classifieds are up. I've missed these forums! I ended up going with an online auction in the meantime. Here's the Winchester though - I'll miss this one too!

You are going to need much better pics on your auction before people are gonna pay even close to your reserve I beleive. Will need detailed pics of the weapon field stripped, as well as pics of proofs fore and aft of the trigger guard on the stock as well as a legible pic of the stamp on the barrel.

Nice looking rifle from what I can see.

Forgot to add - the auction refers you to several pictures - and further states where I bought it. E-mail me direct if you need anything. I'm looking for M1917 Colts right now...

Nice looking Winchester. Looks like the one I bought some years ago from a guy carrying it around at a gun show. Mine is exactly 3,000 higher serial number away. I've got it listed in my book as made in Dec. 1918.
