He's owned it for years but it's obvious it's never been fired, is in like new condition. No box. Can you give me approximate range of values for it? If you need more info, or see a photo, I'll post it here.
Thanks much

Look on Gunbroker.com. But I`d say $175-$225 I just sold one like it for $195.
When we sold them new for Navy Arms, these were called the "Reb" Revolvers because they were brass framed copies of the iron frame Leech and Rigdon revolvers. I seem to recall these sold at the NSSA Spring and Fall Nationals for around $75.00 to $ 85.00 new in the early 80's.
Dixie is selling new Iron (Steel) frame copies of the Leech and Rigdon revolver for $ 265.00.

Somewhat dependent on make; If it's an actual new made colt somewhat more than above. If Uberti/Armisport 180 to 200 should be reasonable at a gunshow. Picture seems dark and I can't be sure of the frame metal. if it is a brass frame vice blued or case hardened knock off
50 or so.

Louis,
that's a nice lookin pistol. Chances are it's worth more as a keepsake than as a 'must-sell' item.
good luck

looks like brass to me
Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc'-Ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
It is not a new made Colt, they only repro'ed original Colt models and this not one! No more then 200 and I think you would have a hard time selling it for that. Frame is brass---no doubt! Weather it is an accurate copy of anything actually made I do not know! It looks to be a Navy frame (except for rebated cylinder, 44 cal.) so I doubt that it is.
Absolutely that is a brass frame revolver.
