If you start with a good set of grips it is pretty hassle free. I have about 7 sets of grips and they are all pretty much new but varied between very glossy to very fiber heavy on the surface.

I use the $7 a bag glass bead media from tractor supply and it seems to be perfect for gun work. I've blasted my HK USP 40 slide 3 times now and you can still read the laser etching through the duracoat.

I plan to start selling the grips on Ebay, I figure the factory grips are ugly and the wood grips are expensive so I can hit that market in the middle.

Ok, Got a chance to shoot the CZ 52 with the extended ported barrel. Holy F-bomb Batman!!! It felt like it malfunctioned. A minor push straight back and that was it. I am not opposed to recoil, but I understand that the only benefit of recoil is reducing the number of people wanting to borrow your gun.

I did not shoot on paper, I was just testing it and 3 other CZ 52 I hadn't gotten to fire yet. Accuracy was great. I was only function checking them and aiming at a small oak tree by our pond. The oak tree is about 10" thick and has a similar sized one right behind it. With very sloppy and almost careless aim I was pegging the tree every time. This was at 37yds. Also, the bullets were making it through both trees on a regular basis.

I am becoming a bigger and bigger fan of this pistol the more I use it.

I'd like to get a ported barrel for a CZ 52. Can't seem to find them anymore.

Apparently they are made of unobtainium and hens teeth. Mine was given to me for free and now I am flipping out trying to find more.
