    Default New Stooges movie

Anyone else trying to make up their mind on this one. I am morally opposed to anyone trying to duplicate the genius of the stooges. When I saw the preview of Moe on the park bench, with the pretty lady, holding a nice package for her I was uninterested. HOWEVER, when he says "I GOTCHA SUMPIN" Then his hand pops up out of the lid and he pokes her in the eyes, I decided I might have to see it.

So, why is it that most women do not "get" the Stooges?

I remember growing up in the Philly area running home from school to watch the Three Stooges on Sally Starr, a kid's show. (God forbid if they would put them on now, all they get is a purple kissing dinosaur). We watch them for a hour then do our homework and then go play baseball until dinner time. I did not like Shemp or Curly Joe. Curly Joe was a very poor substitute for the real Curly. I plan to go to see the movie and Yukk it up!!

Now that I have seen a few more adds, I am looking forward to it. They seem to catch the original Stooges mannerisms well. The humor also seems to fall in line with classic Stooges.

I look forward to. Curly character was on Jay Leno. Others had a spot on Entertainment Tonight. It be worth seeing.
