An ex Navy Seal (Matthew Bracken) has written a trilogy of books starting with "Enemies, Foreign and Domestic" that will cause you to have many a sleepless night. Not only are they page turners that will keep you up late reading but they will also paint a picture of just how quickly this country can slip into anarchy. You may say it can't happen here, but take a read and see if aren't convinced it can happen all too quickly.
