the .38/200 round was declared obsolete in 1937. Something about the geneva convention and lead bullets.

NowI am certain snub nosed enfields were issued, since Anything that would chamber the round was urgently needed. Whether they were isasued to the military is another question. There was the Home Guard, and security forces at factories, A friend told me he knew a despatch rider who was issued a Iver Johnson .32 revolver.

Well not Enfield but 25 of these 2 inch Webley MK III were taken by the Air Ministry in June 1940. They were originally intended for India hence the Broad arrow I. 2 are still known to exist one in National Army Museum in London and one in my safe.

I believe the INdians got some just not all they ordered, IIRC the order was for about 500 guns but I do not know if that was all 2" as they ordered 4" as well. The Indian order guns are scarce the Air Ministry marked are rare. I now have heard of a 3rd AM marked 2". So 3 of the 25 at least have survived. They are really funcky with that big target grip and that short barrel. Now I need a 4" AM marked gun to complete the colelction.

I can find Albion no problem. Just can't find them for a fair price or when I have the cash on me

I've been very happy with a combination of 180 grain lead FPs sized to 0.360 in Starline 38 S&W cases. POA at 7 metres with Webleys, Enfields and S&W Model 11 or 380/200. Dave_n

Agree. I think a .360 around 200 gr is ideal, if you could find them. I have some I bought from Buffalo Bullets (think that's the name). I have and Enfield Mk I (early production) and a Cold Official Police in 38-200 (plus I load for and shoot for 2 S&W Topbreaks, but with a different load).
