New to the forum
First forum for me, and I jsut wanted to say I have been reading the postings (threads) for a while. My compliments to the more learned than my self.
I recently purchased a 1898 Krag, 1903 Springfiled and M1 Garand at an estate sale, all are in very good shape.
The Krag has been sporterized the bluing is phenominal, the 1903 is a standard service rifle made in 1931 and rebarreled in 1942 the stock has proof stamps and other number/ letter markings. The M1 was made in 1942 and the barrel is an after market 6 groove crowned type. The rifle has been glass bedded. I have lots of questions about the rifles, and I have done some research but I would like expert opinions.
