This is from a country that in the 60’s a and 70’s brought you the 8mm XXXXXXXXXX rated movies, including the human and animal sex films. So it shouldn’t be a big surprise.

Gender refers to gramatical entities -- a ship ("she") is feminine gender. Humans (and all animals) have a sex, not a genter.
