    Default SP1 advice

Shot my Sp1 the other day for first time, and every shot had a springy feel/sound comming from the butstock with every shot. my nushmaster never made such a sound, so had me wondering whats doing it. New buffertube in order?

I've always used a bit of grease but I see now someones got something called a "Thwang Buster" available on eBay and Gunbroker. It appears to be a plastic disc that's inserted into the buffer tube before the buffer spring. I haven't tried one yet but if I do, I'll let you know how it works.

never minded it myself. You'll get used to it & will learn to ignore it. Beware of devices that cost $ & purport to solve a problem that really isn't a problem...
