    I have one with a 1931 barrel date. JB offered the opinion that it is original.

    I'll also second John's opinion of the value (price) of the gun on auction. I thought it looked quite nice and suspected it was probably mostly original but for the stock.

    Scant stocks are a bit homely looking, but if one is going to shoot it, they feel a lot better than the "S" stock.

    I missed the sling - if a WWII/WWI, that adds considerably to the value.

    The rifle may be a Sedgley cadet rifle. The pictures raise far more questions than they provide answers.

    I see what are Greek Style Rack numbers on the stock, and also on TOP of the bolt handle near the root.

    I'm guessing Greek Return. I've been to that shop.
