The real issue here is whether the SS fellows are being fired / investigated because they breached security by hiring prostitutes or are they being fired because of moral turpitude or are they being fired because this all blew up in the media and embarassed the SS. I suggest that the security breach may be pretty serious, given what they do for a living and firing may be appropriate but the other two issues are not as clear. An employer has no business in the bedroom of the employee and embarrasment should not be a firing offence, ever.

A final issue is whether or not prostitution is legal in Columbia. If legal then it would be impossible to fire them for breaking the law

I have to question the judgement of a agent who brings this fine looking lady home with him, she says its $800 a night and then he gives her $28?? Did he think she was going to go away quiet? Now this could have been a setup from the start etc., etc, but give me a break. If I told my wife I was going to give her $800 for services rendered and I didn't pay up all hell would break loose at home.

If this happened as she says it did then this agent deserves what every happens to him. If its not the case and he was still with a hooker then he still deserves whatever he gets according to the rules of the agency he works for because he got caught.

Colombia and Venezuela both have a reputation for very pretty, very curvy women. From what I've seen of those people over the years it's often deserved too. You guys are right, welching on the deal was really, really not bright, especially when you're not in your own country and the person you contracted with is doing what she does legally. This looks like some of these old boys behaved both badly and stupidly (on more than one level) which I'm sure is why some of them just decided to quit instead of going through the embarassment of termination proceedings.

The going rate is currently $100/hour, with a 1 hour minimum, and that is NC rates. They do home delivery too.
