I still wonder what gains were made by him not pressing charges and issuing a public forgiveness instead.

I have been in many altercations, and if you can bust their head so that it bleeds, they will most likely hit the ground. He was most likely getting an a$$ whooping.

Have someone hit you in the back of the head with a flashlight hard enough to draw that much blood and see what you think (after your head clears).

I was reading comments about this on a newspaper link that said, there were several black on black killings is Miss. during the same time frame,but none made the news because a white person was not involved. Now if this country goes into racial war mode, how can that help with the reelection of the first black potus? Race war? To quell it call up marshall law and declare the election postponed? How does one read this a little further down the road.We have no racial problems where I live.We are small town america and live in harmony with most people of color,there is no black and white only co-workers all working to accomplish the same goal,make a decent living and obeying the law. We police ourselves because the nearest department may be 15-20 min. response time to us.

Haha, you guys reminded me of an incident in Highschool where "Racial Tensions" grew high. During all the drama, several of the "Racist Klansmen, hillbilly, redneck, crackers" took on the job of acting as bodyguards for our one black ag student (Farmer Brown as he called himself). Turns out the biggest threat of violence due to "racial tensions" was by black kids against a black kid. The incident can easily be applied on a larger scale to every day life as a few ignorant @$$holes cause trouble for everyone else by jumping to conclusions and throwing a fit over the slightest percieved grievance.

I really wish everyone would use the proper terminology for him. He is mullatto. Not black not white, something in between.
