That too! The last transferable M14 I saw for sale was 20 years ago, and it had a $30,000 price tag! Heaven knows what the freight would be today!

fella offered an unfired H&R M14 several months ago on one of the auction sites, beginning price was $35,000, never heard what it went for, came out of the factory's collection when it was sold.....

Phone number is in a town close to me. I might call, maybe not.
You've all missed the words "converted to semi-automatic" in the description. To me, that means it has had a lug in the past, now removed. Without better words/pics it's all spectulation.

Actually, I DID read the description, and since it's obvious that the seller doesn't know beans from Bosco about the firearm, and given the BATFE's legal position regarding "conversion" of full-auto firearms to anything but scrap, I dismissed that statement out-of-hand as irrelevant.
Hi John, I just got a brand new in the box full auto by SAI-M1A that was unfired. Doc bought it and it was $15,000.00 As for M14's, yep, been over twenty years since I saw one legit to sell. I know of several that went missing from different clubs around the country, and are still actively being pursued at this moment by the authorities. I sure feel sorry for anyone that gets mixed up in the wrong deal by not doing their homework. It will not be pretty, unless they like the way Billy Bob looks in a dress at the annual prison play they put on....heh heh.
So did anyone ever call about it?
