So, now that they magically are able to get an accurate count of illegals, they say we are at zero growth for illegals. Interesting fictional numbers they are throwing out there.
My favorite comment was from Billy Bob.

Oh great, now all the good jobs are in Mexico and we built a friggin fence. How are we supposed to sneak into Mexico and get a job?

Illegal immigration goes up in boom times and down in bust times. That is no surprise and perfectly consistent with historical trends. Whether it's a net negative I don't know but I do know that illegal immigration, except for dope running is way down. This has absolutely nothing to do with the Obama adminstrations immigration enforcement efforts and everything to do with it's catastrophic economic policies.

Guammie, are you saying the numbers are made up??? Surely you don't believe the "O" administration would figure out a new way to calculate statistics (*ahem* like they *ahem* did with the *ahem* unemployment rate numbers *ahem*). Surely you trust that since unemployment is getting so much better, the illegals are just moving right back to Mejico to help we A-mur-icans get back to work to rebuild (perhaps in preparation for a second illegal wave)???

I actually do almost believe this stat because I'm seeing fewer and fewer here in Virginia it seems, particularly since there is no work in the mills for them because the mills are almost all shut down now...

Nope.

The stat is for new border jumpers and apprehensions. Both of which are way down. I know what I'm talking about here boys. Illegal immigration always goes way down when economic times are tough. It's the way it is. I saw it first hand in the Carter administration. Wet hunting wasn't real good at 11% unemployment. Now Reagan, that was a different story, no problems at all filling up the van with the economy humming, especially when the word got out that the Reagan administration was going to legalize everyone (which they did by the way.) Here in Texas it's the same. I had to have a sewer line replaced. It was put in by 5 native born American white boys supervised by a black guy. Yeah things have changed. It had been a looooong time since I had seen a native born United States Citizen of any flavor leaning on a shovel, in Texas.
