    they are Mk13's with the Rolls Royce Griffon engine. at least 14 and maybe even 20!!!

    Last I heard was that as many as 4 could be of a different mark, MK9 I believe. I heard 20-24 at most. Still, enough to get an operational squadron in the air which was the guys dream.

    Heck, I've heard in Vietnam we used B-52s for this purpose.
