Doesn't matter where it started, it is hilarious to me that they actually included it in the skit. Just the fact that they included it was funny. Then when they didn't go for the typical stereotypes I was hooked.
The one thing I really enjoy about their show is they take worn out skits based on stereotypes, racism and cliches and take them a whole other direction.
I own firearms not to fight against my government, but to ensure I will not have to.
They are indeed funny.
