    Newbie from Arizona who was referred here by Chuck in Denver.
    Currently have a M1 Garand , a Remington Rand 1911 { 1943 era } and looking for another nice 1903A/3 thats priced right .

    I shoot the H/P match at Payson almost every month...maybe we have crossed paths.

    Have not shot that match, but usually do the 22 silhouette matches on the 2nd Sat. of each month. Best for me as far as "range time " is Sunday mornings due to schedule, etc.

    Ron Foos, tell me more about the C&R or HP match in Payson? I'm interested and that would be closer than driving to Prescott.

    Tim, It's a 50shot (plus sighters) highpower match shot at 200yards on reduced targets.
    1st Sunday of every month - 9am start time - $7 entry fee.
    There are no pits, so it's walk and score your target.
    It's a good/fun practice match for any skill level.
    I like it cause it gets me out of the fugin heat for a few hours!!!
    Probly 6-10 shooters. Run what you brung.
