No prize here and corrosive to boot. Dump it at the next show . Get some new Hornady ammo or reload.

With the current prices for Norma or Hornady 6.5 or 7.7 ammo, I agree... Get the Lee dies and reload. You'll save a ton, and probably be happier with the results than with factory anyway!

I didn't know that RCBS and Hornady made dies for 7.7x58. I've never priced Hornady dies, but I think RCBS is a little over priced. I've been using Lee dies for 30-40 and 30-06 for better than 30 years with not a single problem! I just purchased the 7.7 dies this spring, but I'm quite happy with the results. I also use Lee dies for 45 ACP and 9MM.

I'm very pleased with the Lee collet dies. Definitely helps reduce case stretching in my .243 which is very prone to stretching. I believe they are easier on brass and at the price of Norma 6.5 Jap they're worth taking a look at.

The Chinese made piles of Japanese ammo for years after the Korean War ended. They had piles of Japanese weapons. Small lots were sold off in the mid-1980's.

If you happen upon some of that Chinese 7.7 or 6.5 ammo, beware! They're highly corrosive, Berdan primed... and if you happen to find any with a Magenta band (Incendiary) or a Purple band (High Explosive) avoid these like the plague!!! They are unstable and very dangerous!!!
