I'd say $3000 is a bit too high. $2500 is more the mark, assuming it is all original. The main problem with establishing a value is that the auction values can vary by a wide margin.

If it were mine I would want between 1200 and 1500. You may get more but I think that is about the market price for upgraded Winchester white bag carbine. I have seen a few that were original except for the rear sight being upgraded go over 2000.00 another 2cents

My 1,040,000 Winchester White Bag in impeccable condition sold for about $1,750 at Rock Island Auction last fall. That rifle was parts-correct and in near-mint condition and included the bag and CMP paperwork.

Still figure that Tuna has a better handle on the price for a rebuilt/restored/partially (at least) re-parked Winnie M1 carbine......& he paid it a compliment too........$1000.00 is his figure.....I'd a said $850.00, but I'm conservative.....

I have seen a few of those sell over the years, for $ 1,400 to $ 1,500 range shipped. With this booming Obama economy most people don't have that kind of money any more. I don't. It should be worth $ 2,000+. Did it have a bag? And do you still have it and the CMP paper work? I would not start with a lower price than $ 1,500.
