    Default G.33/40 front sight cover

It took alot of years before I found a front sight cover for my 33/40 carbine, thanks to another collector in NJ, who knew an original one. The are made different inside but K98 covers can be made to look like them.

    Default G.33/40 carbine

Thank again Tom, for locating this rare front sight for me. All the numbers match on this rifle, even the handguard has the 4066a inside. The barrel is dated 12-41 0 and also with the bolt all matching. Bought this from a WW2 many years ago. Bore is nice too.

Maybe somemore will post their 33/40 carbines in this thread.

Very fine condition, RCS. Has the stock been sanded though? Looks really smooth for a combat rifle. Any Nazi stamps present in the wood?

Don't think this was sanded, have had this carbine sine the early 60's, you can make out the waffen proofs in these photos
