    Thanks Dan! I got 2 of those - the one on this rifle is obviously in very fine shape and supple. The other was stiff like cardboard, and flexing/cracking at every single claw hole - I traded that one off to a friend.

    The other sling I got off eBay for $26 (yes, $26!) is a Graton & Knight 1918, in fine shape. Was missing the loops, but I took the set off the cracking Chicago Belting, re-stained them to match and now she's good to go on the USMC 1917 SA 1903 of mine.
