WTS WW I Rock Island 1903 Sniper with Warner Swasey Model 1913 Musket Scope

I am parting with a 170,xxx RIA original finish with what is probably the original 5-10 barrel. Bore is excellent with a muzzle of a tick over "2". Single bolt stock probably around 1910 or so??. It is NOT cartouched anywhere I can see. High back hand guard. I HAVE MORE PHOTOS FOR SERIOUS INQUIRIES.

Now the scope is a model 1913 Warner Swasey Musket scope. Optics are intact. They are not as clear as my Schmidt and Bender (ha ha) but you can see through and the crosshairs are in place. All the adjustments work and the Original Rubber eyepiece is whole as well (almost unheard of). It has all the side plaques which on some of these scopes are missing.This package also includes the snipers belt pouch for the scope. It is in near MINT condition. Additional info....I have had several members ask about a serial number on the scope "leg" mount. I have found only ONE reference to such a marking( I think Brophy). ALL OF THE SCOPES I HAVE SEEN IN THE PAST 10+ YEARS do NOT have numbers on the scope "LEG" mount (check recent ebay sales). I conclude that it was not a mandated or common practice. Just my opinion. This rig is what it is.. If I had documentation it was a WW I "in action" sniper I'm sure you would agree the price would be much different.

I do NOT have any documentation on this set up. It is out of the Blackburn estate.
